RUBEN SANçA

Ruben is a Cape Verdean native with an MBA and degrees in Business Administration (Finance and Management) and Economics. He is a seasoned executive director in the United States with almost two decades of experience in higher education, specializing in wellbeing initiatives, diversity programs, and strategic operations. He is an Olympian athlete and global ambassador for Cape Verde, recognized for exceptional achievements and inspiring leadership. Ruben is a committed philanthropist through the Sança Foundation, supporting education, youth empowerment, and community development. Ruben is a shareholder and currently the Commercial Director for North America at Value Homes.

NAIR SEMEDO

Candida Nair Semedo, equipped with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, mathematics and a master’s degree in business sciences began her professional career over 30 years ago. During this time, she garnered a huge experience in the areas of finance, Administration and sales. She made significant contributions to the growth and development of several companies in Cape Verde. Notably amongst them are Águas de Cabo Verde (Tecnicil Industria), FIMAQ – Manufacture and Sale of Hygiene and Cleaning Products Ltd and Monte Adriano Engenharia & Construções (Elevo). Nair is currently the Finance Director at Value Homes, leveraging her rich experience in accounting, administration and sales.

FAUSTO J. PINA

Fausto J. Pina was born in Cape Verde in 1969. He is a current resident and Citizen of the United States of America. He graduated from Brandeis University with a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts in 1991. He worked in the financial field service industry for over 30 years working in the areas of securities investments, mortgage loans, insurance services, and real estate sales residential/commercial and investment. He is a businessman with participation shareholder in several business entities ventures in the US like Ace Insurance Services Inc, Centurion Realty Group LLC and Value Homes. He is currently the executive director for International Business Group in North America.

FEMI OSEMWEGIE

After a successful career in Information Technology, Femi Osemwegie co-founded Pison Housing Company in Lagos, Nigeria, where he served as the executive director in charge of its internation business group. In 2008, Femi founded Practical Habitat Ltd (PHL), and led it to deliver 5 gated communities comprising more than 450 houses in Lagos and its surroundings. Femi attended the prestigious Harvard Graduate School of Design, where he obtained a postgraduate degree in Advanced Development Program in Real Estate (AMDP) and gained alumnus status . In 2021, Femi founded Value Homes Property Development Company, which is currently developing its first gated community “Ponte Praia”, in the municipality of Praia, Santiago Island, Cape Verde and currently serves as its Chief Development Officer.
